Submit Public Comment to PEBP Board

Please submit your public comment using the Secure Public Comment Form on our Contact Us page under Submit Public Comment to PEBP Board. Public comment must be received no less than 48 hours before a scheduled board meeting. Comments received too close to the board meeting will not have time to be reviewed by board members.

New Hire Orientation

Employee action is required! Focus on completing the new hire event in the E-PEBP portal and discuss plan benefits and offerings. Via Benefits Exchange-HRA Specialist On-Site Assistance at PEBP

Consider setting up an appointment with an HRA Specialist if you have an escalation that has not been resolved after speaking with the Via Benefits Service Center. A Via Benefits HRA Specialist can assist with escalated or on-going issues. Call 1-844-266-1395 to schedule an appointment with an HRA Specialist.

Via Benefits Pre-Medicare Aging Into Medicare Meeting

Wednesday, November 6, 11:30am - 1:00pm
This meeting is for those still enrolled in a PEBP self-funded plan or Health Plan of Nevada (HMO) who have not yet enrolled in Medicare and would like an overview of how to make the transition once they turn 65 or retire after age 65. This meeting provides an overview of PEBP’s Medicare requirements, the enrollment process, and the Exchange Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) funding for eligible retirees.

Diabetes Prevention Program: UNR Sanford Center for Aging

Wednesday, November 6, 1:00pm - 2:00pm
The National Diabetes Prevention Program is a yearlong evidence-based lifestyle change program for people diagnosed with pre-diabetes or who are at risk of developing diabetes. Participants get a full year of support and learn how to eat healthy, add physical activity to your routine, manage stress, stay motivated, and solve problems that can get in the way of meeting goals. Sessions meet weekly for 5 months, followed by bi-weekly sessions for the remainder of the year. PEBP participants including those enrolled through Via Benefits may attend for free. This workshop will be delivered virtually online via Zoom. View the program flyer for more information.

Agency representatives (ARs) are the bridge that connects employees to their benefits offered through the State of Nevada and provide an integral role for coordinating, cooperating and dialogue between agencies. The PEBP AR Portal is the secure online platform for ARs to conveniently submit employee information for their health insurance benefits. This session is designed to train those new to the PEBP AR Portal, and for those who are already familiar with the portal, this is an opportunity to bring questions to a PEBP representative. Pre-Medicare Informational Session

Tuesday, December 10, 10:00am - 11:00am
For those who are retired and approaching age 65 or those who are retiring after age 65, this meeting will break down the transition of moving to the Medicare Exchange with Via Benefits into five manageable steps. Active employees over age 65 are not required to enroll in Medicare until 60-90 days before retirement and will not experience a penalty as PEBP coverage is Credible Coverage. Hinge Health Virtual Event: Sleep and Pain

Wednesday, December 11, 10:00am
Presented by a Hinge Health physical therapist, "Sleep and Pain: Stopping the Cycle," will go in-depth about the importance of sleep, and how sleep and back and joint pain are connected. We will also share tips on how to use the power of movement to break the cycle and the ways Hinge Health can support you.
